Opium Wars - Imperialism in China
The Opium Wars took place around 1839-1842 then again from 1856-1860. The reason for this war is because the British were importing more from China than they were selling to China, the British needed to find something that the Chinese would buy. That's how Opium came to be sold in China by the British. The Chinese did not like this, but the British continued to sell Opium in China. These wars between Britain and China were called the Opium wars because the main problem was Opium! Opium is the dried latex obtained from opium poppies. Britain and the Western powers defeated China in the Opium Wars which eventually resulted in the Treaty of Nanjing and the Treaty of Tianjin.

"Mountains of the Moon"
There were many hardships that Europeans faced when they were traveling in Africa. Some of the hardships these White Europeans faced was getting Malaria from mosquitoes. There were many, many mosquitoes and they were killing these European explorers. Richard Burton and John Speeke were 2 of these European explorers being affected. The explorers also faced getting attacked by African tribes. It is also very ironic that Lake Victoria a white lady was named the largest lake in Africa. Africa is dominated by the Black Race but the the biggest Lake is not named by somebody black, it is named after a White Lady!!!!!! The primary technological advantage the Europeans had over the Africans was weapons. The Europeans had machine guns that could easily wipe out the Africans. The Europeans easily controlled over Africa because they were much stronger and much smarter than the African people. They were much advance than the African people. From the movie "Mountains of the Moon" the African people didn't even know what a gun was, they didnt even know to pour Tea. These are why the Europeans could easily control the Africans

Imperialism Project
We did the Imperialism Project so we could understand the past. We also could learn where people traveled to, how they traveled there car, ship, plane etc and why they wanted to travel there. I learned from the project that European explorers used African Slaves as their workers for working in the plantations. I also learned European explorers tried to go to the spice islands which is present day Indonesia, India and Malaysia. I remember from the Imperialism project that it was a worksheet with the picture of the entire World. In another worksheet it was specific things and we had to cut it and glue it to the worksheet with the picture of the entire World.

Karl Marx and Communism
Karl Marx idea of communism was a smart thing because it made workers and owners have the same amount of money. Karl Marx wanted communism to take over the world because he thought it would be the best idea. Karl Marx viewed workers as the "good guys" and owners as the "bad guy". The reason Marx thought this is because the owners were controlling the workers and he thought this was not right. Communism was the the belief everyone is equal and therefore everyone gets payed the same amount.
Karl Marx and the Industrial Revolution
Karl Marx was a German Jew who was born in May 5th 1818 in Trier Prussia. Karl Marx did not like the Industrial Revolution because he thought it was bad. He viewed it as children working as slaves for their masters. Karl Marx hated the Industrial Revolution he thought it was torture for children. The Industrial Revolution inspired Karl Marx to invent communism because he thought everyone should be at the same level of power. He also had the thought that if workers rebelled against their owners, the owners would be helpless and wouldn't be able to produce nothing. Karl Marx's idea of Communism was spread throughout the world but only a couple of countries till this day follow communism as their form of government. Such countries are Cuba, China, North Korea etc.

Nationalism and the creation of Italy
Nationalism is ideology, a sentiment, a form of culture or a social movement that focuses on the nation. Nationalism is also people fighting for their country or dieing in the name of their country. There are many examples of Nationalism in World History such as the Austrian-Hungarian empire which was once a massive country now made up of several countries such as Romania, Poland, Serbia, Italy, Czech Republic, Croatia etc. The people of these countries thought they speak Romanian and we speak Czech then why are we 1 big country? This gave them the thought to fight for their country and gain independence and become just 1 country instead of a massive country made up of many countries such as the Austrian-Hungarian empire. Another example of Nationalism is Italy when it was made up of many states instead of just 1 big Country. The people of Italy thought that we have the same Language, Religion and basically the same culture then why are we not just 1 country. This thought gave them to fight for Independence from other countries and form 1 large country known as Italy.

Copernicus and the trial of Galileo
Heliocentrism is the belief that the Sun is the center of the Solar System. The same belief Polish Mathematician Nicholas Copernicus had that lead him on trial. Nicholas Copernicus beleived Earth and the rest of the solar system revolved around the sun but the Catholic Church disagreed with this and put him on trial. The Catholic Church disbeleived with this idea they beleived in Geocentric belief that the Earth is the center of the Universe and the sun and other Planets revolve around it.
The Scientific Revolution
The Scientific Revolution was new ideas in diffrent sciences such as Physics,Chemistry and Biology. It began in Ancient Greece with many diffrent ideas and continued through the Middle Ages. There are many diffrent ideas that involved the Scientific Revolution such as Nicholas Copernicu's theory of the Planets revolving around the Sun. Another idea involving the Scientific Revolution is Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution.

Creationism vs Evolution
I agree with Creationism that Adam and Eve were the 1rst Humans on Earth.I do not agree with Evolution because monkeys did not evolve into humans. All the humans are descendants of Adam and Eve.Charles Darwin's theory is incorrect because if humans evolved from monkeys they would still be evolving today, they aren't which means thay never did evolve into humans.
Another reason why Creationism is true is because something had to come from something else.God created the Heavens the Hells and the Earth.Evolution is also fake because there is no explanation of what started the universe and how life originated. Those are my reasons why I agree with Creationism and that Adam and Eve were the 1rst Human Beings on Earth.
