Russian Revolution
The Russian Revolution was a violent period in Russia's history. It began in 1917 when everything began to corrupt and peasants wanted there equality. The Russians had a revolution because the peasants were treated very harsh by the soldiers and the Czars. They couldn't handle it and wanted to rebel and this soon became the Russian revolution. Some of the major causes of WW1 were peasants getting treated bad, the Czars being greedy and Communism. The Bolsheviks leader was named Vladimir Lenin. He was in control of this group during the Russian Revolution. The quote peace, land and bread means the Russian people wanted peace, land to live on and bread to eat to survive. The Russians also got slaughtered in WW1 by the Germans so badly troops left!!! The old troops left and the new Russian troops took over to fight in the war.
