World War 1
World War 1 was an extremely intense war that began on July 28, 1914. It lasted for about 4 years before it ended on November 11, 1918. One cause of WW1 was the assassination of the heir to the throne of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire who was Franz Ferdinand. He and his wife Isabella Ferdinand were shot to death by a Serbian Terrorist man who belonged to a Terrorist group known as the Black Hand. The killer was a 19 year old teen. This killing angered the Austrian-Hungarian empire and they soon declared WAR on Serbia. Another cause of WW1 was Imperialism. Different European cultures faced difficulty with each other. The British, French and Germans hated each other. This is an example of imperialism they had many issues and this eventually lead up to the massive war. The last cause of World War 1 was Nationalism each countries people demanded their country is greater than the others and they would fight or even die for their Country. They eventually did what they said and began the brutal war known as WW1.
